Following on from the stunning Margaux 2005 we have managed to secure a parcel of all the Margaux 2006 that was made—declassified wine made from a famous Château in Margaux. The 2006 is again a very serious, high class Claret, that at this price is an unmissable bargain. The 2006 vintage in Bordeaux was ‘very good’ (Robert Parker) and the wine, while already approachable, has at least a decade to go—if not more. Highly recommended—without reservation!

From the famous Thalabert vineyards in Crozes-Hermitage, bought by Philippe and Vincent when the Jaboulet empire was sold 5 years ago and re-named 'Nouvelère'. This is almost certainly the finest Crozes-Hermitage made now—and from the stunning 2008 vintage—the best the Rhône has seen for several decades. A very fine wine to buy now, try a few bottles and lay the rest down for many years of great drinking. Wine of this quality at under £20 a bottle hardly exists and is a must for all serious wine lovers.

From a tiny vineyard this Premier Cru Rully is soft, luscious and full of flavour. Drinking brilliantly well, this very affordable high quality white Burgundy will remain at its peak for at least another 3 years. Most really good Rully is kept a secret from us by Burgundians who drink it themselves!
