Chorey-les-Beaune “Marvine” | Burgundy

2007

An exceptional Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy—the tiny and much sought after appellation of Chorey-les-Beaune. A wine that is hard to find and when you can it is exceptional value for money.

The Press
'Not quite House wine price, but remarkable for a Burgundy with such Poise—Bright and generously fruity with just a touch of autumnal earthiness.'—Blake Creedon, The Irish Examiner
Our tasting notes
Bright Pinot red with an expressive opulent nose. Excellent mature flavours—well balanced, good acidity with a hint of farmyard rich Pinot flavours. A very well-made Red Burgundy that is drinking perfectly now. Exciting wine to drink now or keep for a few years.

Small village north of Beaune, next door to Aloxe-Corton. The wines are very similar to those from the excellent, nearby appellation of Savigny-les-Beaune.
