Sometimes called 'the Muscadet of the Languedoc' Picpoul de Pinet is the perfect seafood accompaniment: high in acid, despite its Mediterranean nature, with incredible freshness and crispness and often good, subtle fruit. This, Domaine de Lauriers prestige cuvée, is the best example we could find. Delicious summer wine, at a great price.

Our tasting notes

Light gold with green tints. Lovely floral nose with notes of acacia and citrus fruits. Very crisp and fresh with strong grapefruit and lemon flavours. Delicious and refreshing. Drink with shellfish.

About Picpoul de Pinet

One of the top crus in Coteaux du Languedoc producing full-bodied but acidic wines from the Picpoul grape. Picpoul is nicknamed the 'lip-stinger' because of its high acidity, which goes perfectly with shellfish and the local seafood.

 

Prices are all-inclusive for deliveries within the Republic of Ireland. Minimum total order is 1 case (12 bottles of 75cl equivalent) and may be mixed 2 cases (24 bottles of 75cl equivalent) of your choice.
