This delicious and incredibly affordable new Champagne comes from the family run house of Ruffin on the hillside of Etoges. It is pale in colour with a full and expressive bouquet, characterised by fresh citrus fruits and hints of pastry. This is another wonderful single grower Champagne that also comes in Magnums and halves.

Our tasting notes

Pale in colour with a full and expressive bouquet, characterised by clean fresh citrus fruits and hints of brioche. There are also light hints of dried fruit. This is a delicious, full-bodied and powerful Champagne.

About Ruffin et Fils

Ruffin et Fils, as the name implies, is very much a small family-run champagne house. It was started up by Jean Ruffin in the middle of the 20th century who has since been joined by his 3 sons: Maurice, Raymond and Dominique and more recently by Alexandre, his grandson.

This, their most recent Cuvée de Reserve, is a blend of the 2004 and 2005 vintages and was a starred wine (along with all their other champagnes) in the 2009 edition of Le Guide Hachette.

 

Prices are all-inclusive for deliveries within the Republic of Ireland. Minimum total order is 1 case (12 bottles of 75cl equivalent) and may be mixed 2 cases (24 bottles of 75cl equivalent) of your choice.
