Our tasting notes

Deep red ruby. Very aromatic with cherrys, berry fruit, spices and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Good body and length—all the signs of a well made wine. Guilia Frasini recommends it “with salami and with the typical Italian antipasti, with tagliatelle, with game meat, risotto with mushrooms, stracchino and all soft cheeses...”

About Valpolicella

Valpolicella is produced in the Veneto region of Italy, in the foothills of the Alps, in an area sandwiched between the mountains and Lake Garda. The traditional center of Valpolicella production and the better vineyards use the name 'Valpolicella Classico'. The main grape varieties are Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella. These wines tend to be less tannic than the wines from Tuscany or Piemonte, and are generally medium bodied with good fruit and a pleasing aftertaste.

Minimum total order is 1 case (12 bottles of 75cl equivalent) and may be mixed 2 cases (24 bottles of 75cl equivalent) of your choice.
